Galston's Partnership with Ahrensfelde Lutheran Church near Berlin was established in 1987 so celebrates its 25th Birthday this year in 2012. Two group visits are planned to mark the occasion - eight young folk from Ahrensfelde will be visiting in April (see above) and a group of 20 will visit Berlin in October.

The partnership was set up by the late Rev. Loudon Blair and funds have received a boost with an anonymous donation of £250 in Mr Blair’s memory from an ex-Galstonian living in Troon.
