MESSY CHURCH is a church for adults and children to enjoy together. It's primarily for people who don't belong to another form of church already. It's all-age, fun and aims to introduce Jesus, to give an opportunity to encounter him and to grow closer to him. It usually includes some creative time to explore a biblical theme through getting messy, a celebration time which might involve story, prayer, song, games and similar; and a meal. The intention would be for Messy Church to be held once a month, probably on a Friday afternoon between 4-6pm. To make Messy Church work we require a number of volunteers with different skill and talents, such as crafts, preparing food or working with children. If you are interested then please contact the minister and/or come along to an initial exploratory meeting on Monday, 5th March at 7.30pm in the Session House. If sufficient folk are able to give their time and talents to make Messy Church a viable proposition then it would be the intention to begin sometime in April.
MINISTER'S VESTRY TIME: Wednesday, 22nd February, 6.15-6.45pm
